This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a growing group of premium, private outpatient clinics in Qatar with an existing team of over 40 medical professionals. The clinics are differentiated by the quality of their facilities, the quality of their team and their ethical patient-oriented focus. The management team is British and the clinics offer an excellent working environment.  

The clinics are well-established as the leading premium, private provider of mental health services in the country. The applicant will work alongside a team of 13 Clinical and Counselling Psychologists from the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Australia, Lebanon and Argentina.

Job Description

•         General Adult Psychiatry: anxiety, depression, addiction, emotional and behavioral, self-harm, psychosis and other significant mental health issues
•         Working in a community outpatient setting
•         Often complex issues which have never before been addressed
•         40 hours of patient time per week over five days, ample time with each patient

Requirements

•         Qualification from a leading Western University
•         Registration as a licensed Consultant Psychiatrist
•         Experience of a variety of issues, and an adaptable approach
•         Cultural sensitivity, with clients from all over the world
•         Empathetic practitioner with strong patient rapport
•         Strong team ethic, working with Psychologists and other doctors
•         Willingness to relocate to Qatar
•         Fluent English is a must, other languages would be beneficial but are not required
