An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHS Eating Disorder to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the South West London area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This is one of the country's leading mental health treatment centres.An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHS Eating Disorder to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the South West London area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This is one of the country’s leading mental health treatment centres. They provide fast access to high quality treatment for lots of different conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders To be considered for this position you must hold a Full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry As the Consultant Psychiatrist your key responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans alongside the multidisciplinary teamLead ward rounds, MDT meetings, and oversee complex clinical cases, including risk management
Support patients and families with treatment planning, relapse prevention, and recovery
Provide supervision to junior staff and contribute to service quality, CQC compliance, and improvement initiatives
Collaborate with site leadership to enhance service delivery and patient experience The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team. Experience managing complex cases of eating disorders in an inpatient adolescent setting
Strong clinical leadership, risk management expertise
Communication and interpersonal skills are critical
Ability to show a can-do attitude always The successful Consultant Psychiatrist will receive an excellent salary of £180,000 pro rata.
