A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Consultant Psychiatrist to work in an exceptional rehabilitation service based in the Widnes, Cheshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is a state-of-the-art facility which has two areas; a locked assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties
**To be considered for this position you must have an MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration**
As the Consultant Psychiatrist your key responsibilities include:
- Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
- Medication management
- Quality assurance, complaints and co-production
- Delivery of NICE guidance
- Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Be innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions
- Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health
- Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, knowledge of and experience in purchaser/provider contractual issues
- Previous Consultant experience
