Consultant Psychiatrist (Child and Adolescent)
Based near Worcester, Worcestershire, Woodston Personnel UK is recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist, to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team on a permanent basis.
This job will involve working with 12 inpatient children and adolescents and 4 days services users. You will be a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with experience dealing with eating disorder care.
The hospital is in beautiful, countryside surrounding, providing a calming and friendly atmosphere for patients and staff alike. It is easily commutable from both Worcester and Cheltenham.
It is essential the candidate has a full GMC registration along with MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications. MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists is also required.
On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or be accepted within 6 months
Able to be fully responsible for clinical care of patients
Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status
Widespread and detailed experience of assessment and management of patients in Child and Adolescent psychiatry
Clinical training and experience required for gaining UK CCT
Able to be fully responsible for the clinical care of patients
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the fill CPA and ICR process to ensure quality standards
Take responsibility to ensure all patients are admitted, assessed, treated and discharged safely
Management of medication
Deliver NICE guidance
