The Dawn Practice – Glasgow
The Dawn Practice is an established independent mental health service providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment across a broad range of presentations, including adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health, ADHD, learning difficulties, adopted children, and child behaviour and parenting.
Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to join our large and well-established psychiatry team at our Glasgow clinic. Successful applicants will join a multidisciplinary service with strong peer support, shared clinical expertise, and a commitment to high standards of care.
Consultants will provide independent psychiatric services to patients across the central belt of Scotland, with opportunities for both face-to-face, and/or blended face to face and remote consultations where clinically appropriate. We particularly welcome applicants with experience in ADHD assessment and treatment in children and/or adults, though all psychiatric subspecialties will be considered.
The Dawn Practice is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) and operates in accordance with national guidelines for independent healthcare provision in Scotland.

Essential Criteria
- GMC-registered Medical Practitioner
- MRCPsych or equivalent
- Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register.
Contractual Arrangements
Self-employed contracts, with sessional commitments tailored to the clinician’s preferred working hours.
